Starting your practice
Our practice is designed to help you develop a deeper relationship with the body, the breath, and the present moment through gentle, progressive exploration.
About the practice
At the foundation of this work is the understanding that the body holds patterns shaped by our experiences. Over time, these patterns can influence how we move, breathe, think, and respond to life. Through awareness, posture, breath, and meditation, the system gradually begins to soften and reorganize itself into a greater sense of ease, openness, and connection.
The Somatic Living practice is organized into accessible pathways that support every level of experience. You may begin with shorter sessions or move through longer guided sequences depending on what feels supportive to your body and lifestyle.
How should we practice?
We practice at the level of comfort we are in. Comfort and ease are qualities we maintain, even within more challenging postures.
Each movement is guided by the intelligence of the body. We listen, feel, and respond to the different levels of intensity as they arise. Working in accordence with our own levels and ability.
Throughout the sequcnes you will find instrucitons with several steps takeing before entering in the full posture. At any moement that the posture feels to being activaing a sensation, even at step 1 of 5, we want to hold thier, at the first level, until we fill our bodies unwind and we can move onto more advanced or deeper postures.
How often to practice
As this is a living practice, the practice can be taken on and off the mat integrated into our lives.
For the physical structured practice, we recommend allowing time to practice a physical posture sequence 3 times a week, 6 days a week at most, and at very minimum 1 day a week.
As we know it can be difficult it maintain practices, it’s always encouraged to know there is no requirement for the amount of practices, and at any time if consistency falls off, you can always join in again where you left off, or following along to the current monthly sequence. This is a living practice meant for you, and in support of where you are.
Our Physical Posture Sequence
Foundations
Our Foundations Series progresses through different regions of the body:
- Legs
- Hips and Pelvis
- Torso
- Arms, Shoulders, Neck, and Head
Each section is designed to help release tension, improve awareness, and restore fluidity throughout the body. Over time, the practice supports a deeper sense of grounding and connection.
Monthly Sequence
Our Monthly Sequences are organized into a progressive 4-month series, with each month supporting and building upon the next:
- Front Body
- Back Body
- Side Body
- Strength
Each sequence explores a different relationship within the body through focused, full-body practices that develop awareness, stability, mobility, balance, and coordination throughout the nervous system and physical structure.

Breath and Mind
Alongside the physical practice, breathwork and meditation support the connection between body and mind. As the body relaxes, the breath deepens, the mind begins to settle, and the present moment becomes more tangible through direct experience.
Breathwork
Our breathwork practices help develop a deeper awareness of the connection between body and mind. Through guided breathing techniques, the breath becomes a bridge into relaxation, grounding, presence, and nervous system regulation.
Guided Meditation
The practice develops through consistency, patience, and learning to listen to the body over time.
Whether you are beginning for the first time or deepening an existing practice, we are honored to support you on your journey into greater awareness, grounding, and embodiment.
